Team Alpha
We are a group of international students who are enthusiastic about Synthetic Biology, DNA Coding, Organic Experiments, Computer Science and Logical Circuits.
Our team started in 2016, young blood of the International Genetically Engineering Machine in Shanghai, China. It is comprised of devoted high school individuals in science research, who are familiar with different scientific concepts within diverse fields.
We gain profound synthetic biology knowledge by engaging hands-on tasks, reappearing experiments in BioBuilder, and extrapolating potential solutions to existed problems based on a wide range of biological, electrical, chemical toolkits.
To imagine, improve and to innovate, Team Alpha is en route.

What we're up to
We have a new proposal on turning wasted corps or other unwanted materials into Biological fuels, which can be used in the same ways as petrol and natural gas. The waste stalks and leaves of crops after threshing were near 7 hundred millions tonnes causing respiration problem and loss of farming land. The traditional alternative method cannot afford to cancel the cost and causes more problems.This issue can be potentially solved by engineered bacteria designed to degrade cellulose structure in plants, in the meantime creating usable biofuel.
